New York State Tool has Donated 100 Styx Tickets Believe 271 Foundation is excited and honored to announce that New York State Tool has donated 100-Styx (Styx) tickets to volunteer firefighters, EMT’s, Ladies Auxiliary members and their guest for the band’s performance at the Stanley Theater on Sunday, November 10th at 7:00pm. This concert is co-presented by New York State Tool Company (New York State Tool Co.) and Excellus Blue Cross Blue Shield (Excellus BlueCross BlueShield). Proceeds from the event will benefit both The Stanley Theater (Stanley Center for the Arts) and Valley Health Services (@valleyhealthservices). 2019 CNY Memorial Stair Climb First and foremost, this event is focused on remembering those emergency responders who made the ultimate sacrifice on 9/11/01 during the terrorist attacks of the World Trade Center Twin Towers. While the situation was one no responder is ever prepared for, those first and subsequent responders faithfully performed their duties sacrificing their own lives which ultimately saved thousands of civilians prior to the collapse. 2019 Believe 271 Old Forge Walk & Run 2nd Annual Old Forge Drill School 5K run/walk. This event is to help raise money for the Believe 271 Foundation. This foundation was founded in February 2014 to raise money for an Oneida County Fire Coordinator Car 271, Brian McQueen who was fighting a battle with cancer. He graciously turned down this money in hopes that it would start and grow a foundation to help other firefighters who also have taken ill. This foundation has helped to date 50 men and women that have become ill. The Old Forge Fire Company is taking all proceeds from this event and donating them to the Believe 271 Foundation to help them help other firefighters and ladies auxiliary members that have become ill. 2019 Believe 271 Bridgewater Walk & Run Registration will open on April 1, 2019. Come and participate in the 5th annual Believe 271 5K Run/Walk. With your help and support of this race we will be able to help more Firemen and Ladies Auxiliary members with life threatening disease, such as Cancer.
